I agree with you, Keith, the seller must be over the moon with bidding starting at 99p, and when I looked, the bidding was at £312. The 44mm (1&3/4") f1.9 Dallmeyer projection lens is offered without any indication as to what projector it fits. Obviously the hopeful buyers know far more than I do.

David I thought the same as you. Looks like a lens to fit the Debrie but 44mm is not even a short throw lens so I can't imagine why it should fetch such a price.

Just ridiculous. There are far better lenses available for far less money. I don't care what projector it fits or how 'rare' it is, there is no way it is worth that sort of money. At the end of the day it is merely a projection lens not a camera lens, and to my mind not a particularly sought after specification.

Yes, or maybe when you give it a rub it transports you to another dimension where all projectors work perfectly and never go wrong and all films are worth watching!
