I have a widescreen print of a scope film and the colour is very good but on the edge of the film it just says kodak film in black would I be right in thinking it's a IB Technicolor print done for TV broadcasting ?

I disagree if the edge says Kodak Film.
Have a look below at details of Technicolor release prints on 16mm.
