Hello,
I have recently bought an ELMO CL-16 projector in a very good condition except of the known deficiency with the rubber rollers that were seriously gooey and deteriorated. The original replacements are very pricey around 105$ and the cheap tires you can get online for 10-15$ (each) can do the job equally good to a much cheaper fix using a silicon tube. I though that maybe someone would find the DIY cheap solution interesting therefore I am posting my photoblog here. Best V.

Thank you Vangelis for posting this. I too just bought a CL-16. I haven't received it yet so I don't know the condition of the rollers. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that they are in running conditon...but if not..I may be contacting you for assistance. It's nice to know there"s a less expensive alternative repair
