This is how we will handle updating member pictures from this point on. There are four options...

#1 Upload the image here and place it on this thread.

#2 Email the picture to me and then make a post here saying "emailed pic to Brad" so I can find your email and update it based on the date and approximate time of your post on this thread.

#3 Mail a photograph in for scanning. (Email me for specifics.) The photo can be returned if you desire.

#4 Fly to Dallas to have your picture taken, then fly home. (This is your best value.)

If you are uploading a picture with other people in it, be sure and note which person you are.

PLEASE REMEMBER, I will only be updating the member pics from time to time, so don't expect it to be instantaneous. However many people are sending in member pictures by embedding it into the email or they are emailing me a link to their picture. Either way makes it difficult for me to keep track of. To make matters worse many people are not putting their full name into the email, or are using a shortened version of it (Rich instead of Richard), or even being specific that the picture is for the "8mm forum" further complicating the task. So from this point on I will use this thread as a means to keep track of member pictures, so nobody gets left out on accident. [Smile]

PLEASE, NO COMMENTS ON THIS THREAD. If you are not uploading a picture of yourself for use as your avatar member picture, you have no business making any posts to this thread. All that will do is clutter things up.

Now let's see how many member pictures we can get here with this "new and improved" system. [Cool]

Here is the link to Film-Tech where the mug shots are abundant. [Big Grin] Click on forums in the box at the top left, then click on " I agree with both sentences above, etc.". [Wink]

Jim, when I first tried to upload a photo I had the same problem. The login for the upload section seems to be case sensitive: When I log into the forum it works with "joerg niggemann", when uploading I have to type "Joerg Niggemann".

I posted my Avatar photo a couple months ago and I thought it would start popping up with my posts - but so far it isn't working... Is there something else I have to do to activate it? Not that I'm desperate to see myself but I was just wondering...

I gave up. My computer (or it's user) are either too stupid or just not up to par on uploading pictures. believe me, if I could, I'd be slapping pictures on all my reviews.

I did e-mail my photo to both Brad and Kevin, in the hopes that they could, perhaps I should mail it to Doug?
