Hey i was at a car boot sale yesterday and think i picked up a bargain.I got a sega master system in origional box with 2 origional joypads and 1 extra pro one it is the hangon card version not only plays cartridges but has a card slot as well.Thats not it though i also got with it a set of master system 3D glasses with 1 game again in its origional box with full instructions in origional plastics.I also got the sega light phaser also in origional box with instructions and origional packaging.Not finished [Smile] also got origional sega joystick in its origional bix minus instructions.Also included was 12 games 4 boxed rest not.Does anyone here collect these things and know a value of them as i only paid £5 yes five pounds for the lot.I wanna stick it all on ebay but prices are so varied on there so hoping as a full collection will be worth more.Thanks

Austin Holcomb our youngest collector in this forum is a master of console game like this. Invite him to comment in this thread, perhaps by changing a bit your title to become "Old Sega games".

Neat find. It should be known, however, that you can download (for free!) nearly every sega game made and play them on your computer.

Thanks turns out i did rather well.The glasses are worth £100 on there own so got them on ebay for £50 trying for a quick sale Phaser is worth around £20 so got it on for £10.Keeping the console and joystick.Thing is i didnt mention that i also got a load of playstation 1 stuff as well for £8 including system, controllers, steering wheel and pedals,gun,games magazines,cd magazines and a cheats book its also going on ebay for a quick sale.If only could find this type of stuff every week [Smile]

Great find William,

i had a vast collection of video games until a couple of years ago (now i've cut it down to my absolute favorite systems only).

As you already discovered the most valuable item are the glasses.
If I were you though, I wouldn't post them now on ebay.
The glasses are going to attract a lot of bidders, but during august there is a shortage of bidders....I think you could fetch better prices after september.

In any case this is a great find...especially for 5 pounds...
A great chance for you to turn these games into films [Big Grin] (at least that's what I do with what I can find at flea markets and other sources [Wink] )
