I recently came across a silent movie projector, but I can't seem to identify it.
The current owner thinks it's made in the Uk around 1900, but he is not sure.
I've contacted Michael Pritchard and he hasn't seen this model either. He thinks its a bit later than 1900 and he believes it's origin is from continental Europe rather than the UK.
I've also contacted Stephen Herbert, but he hasn't responded so far.
Does anyone got an idea about its origin (UK, continental Europe, America,...) or date? Or does anyone know someone who could help me with this?

It looks like a German Projector.
"PROJECTOR 35MM GBN SPOTLIGHT OF 1910 GERMAN MARK APROX GBN, FUNCTION HAS A SIDE MOUNTED MECHANISM FOR THE REWIND PELICULAS.MIDE ANCHO.LAS 66cm x 25cm" Of course, I may be wrong.

This is a prehistoric projector from the Jurassic Company. It's a Model T-Rex 12BD. It's know for eating films and makes a lot of noise!
It's believed to be older than Shorty Caruso
Very rare indeed Usually dug out of ruins of ancient movie theaters or Dan Lails back yard

Jerome, It could be German but I don't think it's from GBN (Gebruder Bing Nurnberg). I know most Bing models and this isn't one of them.
@ Graham: I haven't got the projector yet. I hope to recieve it in a few days days.
The owner says the mechanism works fine, but the light source is gone.
