Well folks I grew up with the music of the 60s. One huge 1964 hit that was played on the radio all the time was The Animals playing "House Of The Rising Sun"

Now 54 years later check this UK youngster out....simply brilliant.

The young man's guitar rift was spot on. It could have been lifted straight from The Animals recording, it was so accurate. His voice was pretty good, too, although his phrasing was a little out sometimes. Nevertheless, a good performance.

The story was the Animals had never recorded before. They traveled to the recording studio on the train (subway?) carrying their instruments. They walked into the studio and set up. The engineer told them to run through it once so he could see how it went. They played House of the Rising Sun one time and then left the studio thinking they were done. The recording everyone knows is the one and only take. Weather actually true or not, I can believe it because the Animals were always great playing live. They were the real deal.. the kid does an awesome version.
