While most ebay listings marked as acceptable are just this, would you call this one acceptable? Would you seriously be happy to pay this minimum price and sit through it?

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Jaws-2-x-400-Super-8/303163924156?_trkparms=aid%3D1110001%26algo%3DSPLICE.SIM%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D20131231084308%26meid%3D71055244efa94f93b55b9d3dac78198d%2 6pid%3D100010%26rk%3D6%26rkt%3D12%26sd%3D223539708692%26itm%3D303163924156&_trksid=p2047675.c100010.m2109

Personally, i would either start this at 0.99p or bin it.

Acceptable is the only option for description to describe it when using eBay Tom,at least the screen shots show the faults, probably fetch more without them,Mark.

How does a print get that scratched up? That is never cleaning the film path of your projector.

Mark, agree, dont get me wrong though, the listing itself is fine but at that stupid start price its not fit for purpose.

Bill, it does make you wonder doesn't it? one can only assume that either the projector is a wreck, (may even be something like a royal!!) or as you say, the previous owners had no idea how to look after the film or equipment, either way, the prices films cost it does make you wonder.

A few years ago I sold my nice 2 x 400ft Jaws on eBay because it was faded to pink.

I got 9 quid for it.

In this day and age I can't understand any value at all in these old, faded, knackered prints.

Im the same there Rob, you cannot possible show off the gauge with this sort of print. If anything, an audience would laugh at us. This is one of those prints thats should be binned and taken out of circulation. (only my opinion though)

My black plastic rubbish bin bag would gladly find this print as being acceptable . [Big Grin]
