I finally got 2 of the pathe stencil color films...I'm so amazed to finally see these up close, they are unbelievable to think of the precision and work that went into stenciling these films...
I acquired #89 LE THE / and #494 BIARRITZ - LA COTE D'ARGENT

Congratulations Dino, those stenciled color films are as rare as hens teeth. I am stenciled in green with envy!

Thanks for those GREAT links. It's amazing what they had to go through to make those color prints. The color, on some sections, looks so near life-like. Quite a testament to what they did.
How will you go about your restoration and archiving that print, Dino? No doubt a frame by frame printing of it on safety stock?
I have but one 9.5 film. Its a full Mickey Mouse cartoon, when he goes into a haunted house. Never had a projector to play it, but I thought it would be fun to actually own one of those.
