I'm using EFRs in my ST-1200. Is there something called a Xenophot that is 20% brighter? Also, I've heard of putting a two blade shutter in a GS-1200. Could a two blade shutter be installed in my ST-1200? I'm using it for 24fps only.
Where can I find a 1.0 lens for the ST-1200. [Confused]

Dan,

I am not aware of a 2 blade shutter for the ST being available mainly because of the way in which the shutter is driven. Whethere it is possible to manufacture one is another matter.

f1.0's in my opinion give only a very subtle light increase over a 1.1 say and I would question whether the additional price being seen on ebay is truly worthwhile.

Probably the most benefit I have seen is ensuring as little stray light as possible reaches the projection screen
