Ernie,

There are full length prints of "2001" and "Dr. Strangelove" (rare) out there. I've read about an Italian bootleg of "Spartacus". As for digests, Heritage films released one of "Spartacus".

Mark,

You're probably right. There's a 1953 Italian film that was released in the UK as "Spartacus The Gladiator". Sorry about that, Ernie.

No problem. I figured it wasn't the kubrick version since, they probably would've had Kirk Dougles' name all of that cover art [Razz]

Hi All
Kubrick what a fantastic director. I just wish that Spatacus was released on 8mm scope. The great Kirk Douglas what a fantastic actor he is. His son Michael again a great actor and what films they have done for us to view. Kubrick was one of the leading directors of the top class and sadly missed.

Hi,

it looks like none of the films are available as German diggests. But UFA released "2001 - Odyssee im Weltraum" as order-number 661 on 8 x 110m-reels.
