With reference to the posting about Umit's store I have checked out the mileage for a "Grand Tour".

Heathrow Airport to Perrys Movies: 5 miles
Perrys Movies to Independent 8: 45 miles
Independent 8 to Umit: 10 miles
Umit to Classic Home Cinema: 173 miles
Classic to Paul Foster: 159 miles
Paul Foster to Derann: 18 miles
Derann to Heathrow Airport: 120 miles.

Total mileage is 530 miles.

Don't forget that Classic is closed on Thursdays.

I forgot to list Paul Foster, this has now been rectified.

For a collector with limited time, a visit to Paul and Derann could be achieved in one day as they are only 18 miles apart.

Sorry. Barry has now been added to the Tour.

I cannot find an address for Ian (or a Post Code.) I'll include it if anybody knows it.

Ian has now been added.

With all respect to Martin I would not include him as he rarely has much in the way of film sales.

As Wally is not an seller with an accesible website I don't intend to add him to my Tour. However, if he does read this, and approves, I will willingly include him, although the Tour will be considerally extended, unless one arrives by ship.

It's a pity we don't have a shop here in Scarborough, customers could then come off the ship straight to it,
Peter.

Have you been to Marriots shop Peter, as you can literally fall in to it from where you are, probably only about 20/25 mins???
Best Mark.

Before my in laws died, they lived in Hornsea,I did call at the Marriotts shop.Unfortunately they were closed. They operate a limited opening policy.Looking through the window the stock etc looked more like a jumble sale than a retail shop.Next time I visit I shall ring before setting off.Although the cine items tend to be on the high side pricewise,
Peter.
