Hi Phil, I haven't had wurkers for a few years, there is a generic version under the brand name 'KOOD' which should be fine provided you don't need the balance stripe left clear

That's a staggering price and over twice what I last paid for a pack! Needless to say, it's a must to get the 4 frame type and cut them in half, unless working on a very special film.
Still kicking myself that I was too slow when Amazon sold a batch of Wurker tapes for about £4 a pack a couple of years ago!

Thanks for the advice. Seems I'd have to pay through the nose for genuine Wurker tapes (that's if you can get them), so I'll try Hama, 4 frame, and cut them in half (as I used to do with Wurker). There seems to be different types of Hama tapes around at hugely different prices. Bluecinetech have packs of 50 Hama tape for £3.99. Anyone know if they are any good? Seems cheap compared to the Duoplay ones selling at £16! If the only difference is the balance stripe gets covered, I'll go for these.

I think the Bluecinetech price is very good - I'm pretty sure the Kood and Hama splices are basically the same so the Hama will be fine

KOOD patches are also good value and come in a pack of 100. Few people stock them but you can get them from Perry's Movies. I bought a pack from them at the BFCC and it was only £7.50.
