Hi All,
I have in my std.8mm collection a 50' colour film of Stan Laurel visiting Oliver Hardy at Hardy's home. Hardy was recovering from a heart problem and in fact died some weeks after this short "home movie" type film was made. Is this film known to the film collectors?

Yes, but there a copy of this on the DVD "Babes In Toyland." This DVD also have another 8mm short of Stan Laurel with the Oscar that he won.

Last footage from Laurel & Hardy ever! In 1956!

Oliver looks very thin.

Yes, same film - I've wondered Oliver is saying to the camera that causes Stan to laugh also - Anyone lip-read?

I have the Red Fox copy of this [Smile]

Unfortunately I believe they cut the scene with Stan & Ollie short by quite a bit [Frown]

I'll have to watch mine again to make sure I know what I'm talking about.
