I recently acquired a Sankyo 460 and I'm hoping all is well with it when it arrives. I also purchased a short cartoon reel to test on it. I made the decision after playing around with my grandpa's old B&H 254.
With that said, are there recommendations on where to go to find "common" super 8 films? Unfortunately for me many ebay sellers seem to not ship to Canada. Right now I'm not super interested in finding rare films, really just some things that I can watch. Also it seems tough to find places that aren't in Europe.
Right now I'm aware of: -ebay, as mentioned, though it seems hard to combine shipping so shipping one item at a time is a killer when the shipping is the same cost as the 10 minute film. -this board -a-1video.com(though I'm not sure if this is actually up and running since the phone number is not in service when I call) -http://8mm16mmfilms.com/ Phil's Vintage Movie Films -Classic Home Cinema, though I imagine the shipping overseas would be a killer -super8warehouse.com, again I imagine shipping is a killer -foster films.. again shipping concerns -van eck films.. again shipping concerns
Are there some I'm missing? Does anyone have any recommendations from among these, or ones to avoid?
