I am interested mainly in the 8mm Watsofilms catalogues as many times I have found rare titles in those sturdy brown boxes, not available elsewhere. Were there separate catalogues for 8 and 16 mm?

I don't suppose they would mind in this day and age now David, but yes of course permission would need to be granted.
At the end of the day, people are putting the catalogues into pdf formats now, so why not any other of their memorabilia including flyers, used lists etc etc.?
Surely it is better these things are archived for prosperity rather than gone forever as these things get skipped as rubbish over the years by our less enthusiastic relatives and the likes.

I also have a lot of leaflets and newsletters and other stuff.
I have been emailed by a forum member who kindly offered to transfer my catalogues onto a disc if I sent them on to him.
However I had to decline his offer due to the fact I don't want to risk getting them lost in the post as a lot of them are very rare and have been with me since the 1960s and beyond.
If I was to do a disc transfer I would do it locally of course.
I already have 13 x A4 Box files full of this stuff plus a couple of large boxes and bags yet to be filed.

Thank you, Phil!
I first became a Derann customer back in 2002, so I never saw one of their catalogs. They started out as a website to me.
I was a little annoyed that they sold only sound films since up until then I had been collecting silents only. I puzzled over it about two weeks, bit the bullet and bought my first sound projector. Today I can't imagine it being any other way: The audio end of film collecting is basically my favorite part now.
For a lot of people this will bring back the good old days. For me it's the even better days I missed out on!
