Anybody remember this really unique looking 8mm camera from the 1950's?

Janice, it's a Carena camera or to be precise a Geva Carena. Gevaert is a Belgian make that later fusied with Agfa and Carena was a make from a very small European country called Liechtenstein. The camera was Madeleine in France.

Dom is correct Janice, it is the double 8mm Geva Carena. I believe it was designed to appeal to women, as it could be easily slipped into a purse, and judging by your interest, they succeeded! [Smile]
