Good one, Osi - I used to pick up an occasional cartoon from Dave Thomas Films years ago, only now I'm searching for the KEN Marvel Super Heroes cartoons, which is another post but I won't bother as few are answering me as it is what with the other shorts I'm looking for - Stay in touch and thanks

Actually, I pretty much own all the cartoons I've looked for, except for "The Little Match Girl" a rare columbia classic super 8 colour cartoon.

Oh, and an occasional scope cartoon, (Tom and Jerry, Droopy)

Good luck on finding the cartoons you are looking for!

Marvels are around, just have to be picky on content and box - had a Lantz SWING YOUR PARTNER and the three Popeye adventures; Aladdin, Ali Baba and Sinbad - Sorry I got rid of them all, but I'll find them again if I try - Shorty

Ah Osi,
"The Little Match Girl" is the BEST cartoon UPA ever made. I had to let my print go as it made "er indoors" cry her eyes out every time I showed it. It is an absolute joy and is a definite must have title for all cartoon collectors. Just make sure you have the Kleenex handy.

Hey Paul, info on "Little Match Girl"

Though it was released by Columbia pictures, it was not a U.P.A. cartoon. It was actually made by the earlier animation house under the Columbia banner, the "Columbia/Screen Gems" animation studio, made in 1937 under thier "Color Rhapsodies"
titles. U.P.A. didn't start releasing under the Columbia banner until 1948.

By the way, I personally think the best U.P.A. cartoon was "The Tell Tale Heart."
