THE CONQUEROR/CONQUEROR OF THE DESERT, 5x120m - B - £65 1956. In the historical epic, John Wayne stars as Temujin, better known as Genghis Khan. Red haired Susan Hayward co-stars as Bortai, the Tartar princess whom Temujin claims as the spoils of battle. Universal 8 release

Mystery thriller directed by Alfred Hitchcock in which a shy young woman marries a charming gentleman, then begins to suspect him of trying to kill her. Cary Grant and Joan Fontaine star. Winner of two Oscars. This print has red spots on dark in between main scenes, hence the price. Original Derann/Portland packaging

Elvis Presley delivers one of his finest early performances as a teenager named Danny Fisher, who is forced to drop out of school to help support his ineffective father.
