My Gawd, Dan!

Your doing incredibly well on your auction. I have a print of STAR WARS scope 400ft with perfect mint color, and I doubt that I would get 71.00 dollars (or more by the time it's done) for it if I was to auction it off.

Magnificent! A lot of people (including me) could learn a lot from you.

Osi, I'll save you the trouble of finding out... just sell me your scope Star Wars to me for $20! There! Problem solved! [Big Grin]

Osi, I'll buy your Star Wars Pt 2 scope digest. I got outbid on Dan's one. How does that $71 sound, plus postage. If you are serious.

Sorry to make any confusion. I'm not wanting to sell my STAR WARS 400ft print.

Daniel ...

If it's the optical sound feature, these were edited for airline in flight movie distribution. Not because of any naughtiness per se, but because they had to make sure that the film would run under a certian amount of minutes. As far as I know, nearly all the Bond optical sound super 8 prints are edited.

Dan, that Apollo 17 film you have is from Movie Newsreels, in case you didn't know. I have the same film, and it came in a plain white box.

This is the ad:
http://8mmforum.film-tech.com/cgi-bin/ubb/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic;f=1;t=004786#000000

That is a great silent documentary of the mission, and unique to Super 8 as far as I know, and I'm an extreme Apollo buff. Never seen it anywhere else. Too bad for the redness. I think the color's just a little pink on mine. My Apollo 11 500-ft is totally red though. But I have a few others that still have good color. Anyway, cheers.
