Can anyone help out to identify the names of any of the digests in the pic below?,they are part of a bundle i might be buying but the seller has no idea what they are.
i`m sure there is a Grease digest in the middle but the rest is a mystery.
The seller wants £70 for a Chinon 7500,with these digests plus "a Screen", i `m trying to get the money down to about £40 for the lot.

Thanks Guys n Gals
Stewart

Ps This could be a good bit of fun if forum members post a partial photo of digest boxes for the rest of us to identify!! [Big Grin]

Hi,

N°2 above is "The Eiger Sanction".
N°3 below is "the Blood Devil" and I think that there is 4 parts.
Left of "Grease" it's "Animal House".
Below "Animal House", it's "Mickey 50th birthay" ( not sure).
And right of "Mickey" it's the prince and the dragon" from "Sleeping Beauty".

Best regards,

JC.

Top left : Midnight Express
Top right : Pluto's Playful Prank
Top middle is obviously a title from U8
Below Pluto, next to Grease is "Kentucky Fried Movie #1"

JC is right, bottom left is Mickey's 50th Bday. However, I'd say that the Sleeping Beauty extract looks more like "Once Upon a Dream".

I'm puzzled by the Blood Devil, as if it's the same film as Castle of the Walking dead/Pit & the Pendulum by Harald Reinl , I know a different box design (with the exetioner, axe in hand).

Yellow box is generic and can hold three 400ft reels, so it could be anything.

Hi Stewart,

From left to right (clockwise):

- Midnight Express (Warner, 400" Col, Sound)
- Eiger Sanction (Universal 8, 400" Col, Sound)
- Goofy Golden Gags Vol. 1 (Walt Disney, 400" Col, Sound). ps: JM, it cannot be Pluto as I have compiled or Disney picture here
- Kentucky Fried Movie #1 (as suggested by JM above)
- Grease (Marketing Films, 400" Col, Sound) ps: can be 1 of 3 or single reel
- Animal House (Universal 8, 400" Col, Sound) ps; can be 1 of 2 or single reel
- Mickey 50th Anniversary (Walt Disney, 400" Col & B/W, Sound)
- [unclear]
- Multi-reeler (4 reels) of unclear title
- Cinderella Fairy Godmother(Walt Disney, 200" Col, can be silent or Sound) ps: JM, cannot be Sleeping beauty or Once upon, as it is shown here
- Un-boxed reels 1 * 600", 6 * 400" and 1 * 200"

I think even GBP 70 is a pretty good deal, because the projector itself is value more than GBP 50. Plus you get films and screen, and don't forget those un-boxed reels can be anything which may be good.

I would buy them if I were you.

Good luck

Thanks winbert,
The Chinon has alot of drawbacks too remember. The digests are unseeen,so they could be scratched, faded garbage, the screen is undiscribed, condition wise, but im thankfull for your advice,
I just feel i could negotiate a better deal for myself, the advert is on Gumtree not e-bay,the seller has also asked for "swap" options......
I really dont want to give the impression to the seller that yeah its a good deal, but your definately correct with Cinderellas fairy Godmother [Smile]
Best Wishes
Stewart
