No, the point I'm making Moshe, is that a lot of the Italian releases are pirate copies that suffer from fade.Unless it is a film you really want,or can put up with off colour,

I know exactly what you mean Moshe, a pink/red print of a much loved title is better than nothing at all the "fire" can be taken out by filters,if its a much loved film, the fact that it is on film does tend to make us silly at times, but that's what makes our hobby special.

I remember in the 70s there were some 6 reelers (3x400) available in England that were Italian prints, of US films. I think one of the titles was 'The Bounty Hunter' with Randolph Scott, I don't remember the others, the print quality was supposed to be quite poor. I used to wonder what the Quality of Eumig projectors was after the Italian buyers of the company brought out their own models.

I have quite a number of Italian westerns from Italy, purchased many years ago Robert, and the print & sound, especially on the Fotocinedizioni prints are exemplary. These are ligit prints, and not the pirated copies that are variable. I must resume my search now for Laksmi's "Hercules" 400', fingers crossed.
