Hi everyone - I recently aquired a Walton Films Super 8 Sound B/W print (400' parts 1 & 2) of HANNIE CAULDER -- I'm looking for the 400' part 3 -- If anyone can help me out, please respond with a price ***OR*** maybe a trade for something you could use

Thanks, Ray

Hello Raymond. I have this feature from Walton, in color and in scope, and it is 4 parts. I am not aware that this was released as a three parter.

Hannie Caulder was released as a 4 X 400ft feature, flat and (the rarer) scope versions and also as 2 X 200ft extracts, 'The Brutal Brothers' and 'Shots Of Vengeance'

Looking at the old Walton catalogue (29) Hannie Caulder was available in the following formats:

  • F726 8 reels colour
  • F726 8 reels feature colour scope
  • A890 2 reels extract colour
  • A822 The Brutal Brothers B/W sound or silent + colour scope
  • A823 Shots Of Vengeance B/W sound or silent + colour scope
  • B578 Trailer
A822 & A823 were also in colour flat, but not listed in catalogue.
I've got the scope version which is good, but not for sale. Based on another thread The Blob at $299 my scope print must be worth at least $2000+ [Big Grin]

For some reason, I love the Hannie Caulder trailer [Smile] I bought the feature and Witchfinder General feature on the strength of the Walton trailer reel with both above titles on it together with Curse Of The Crimson Altar.

Wasn't A890 a later combination of the two 200ft extracts mounted on a 400ft spool?

Thanks for all of the info guys - Now I'm really confused - I have :

F.726 Part 1
F.726 Part 2

Both 400 ' BLACK & WHITE Super 8 Sound

I guess I have the first 2 parts of the feature, not a 3-parter as I thought

Can anyone use these two reels ?
