I have a Sankyo 700-Sound projector in great shape BUT

- it plays just a bit fast
- has problems with reverse

Can I adjust the speed anywhere on this thing?

What is up with the reverse issue? It works sometimes but seems labored.

Also are there extension arms available to fit a large reels?

Thanks!

Hi,
I have the sankyo 501 sound projector and my reverse problem was the main drive belt needed replacing, works great now.
The speed was fixed by adjusting the adjuster thingees inside the projector, it was 2 screw-type things on there own plate that need a small screwdriver to turn, it was the left for 18fps and the right was the 24fps,for my model they were on the base inside, a wee adjustment did the trick for me.
Be careful .......
Also search in 8mm forum for sankyo sound and that was where i found help too.
hope this helps despite me having a different model [Smile]
