Does number 6 have a hot shoe adapter Maurizio and what machine was it designed to fit?

Hello, Andrew. The A-Lens holder fits both GS 1200 and ST 1200 (I will add this to the original post).

What do you mean a "hot shoe"? The holder is fastened to the projector's cabinet through a knurled screw. Hope this helps.

Ah thanks then Maurizio. I was hoping for one with a hot shoe adaptor fitted to it for my Beaulieu like the ones from FFR.

Never mind. The search will continue. [Wink]

A hotshoe is a metal bracket with electrical contacts where an external device can be connected.

I know that term from camera flash units. How the heck does it apply to a lens?

Thank you, Janice. Now, I Wonder why you would need that for an anamorphic lens holder and I never noticed the FFR ones had that mysterious feature :-)

Some of the earlier Elmo machines had a "hot-shoe-type" bracket - sans power connector - below the main lens to install the scope lens holder. My XP550 has one. It allows the scope lens assay to be moved either back or forth depending on the side of your prime lens.

in this case Dominique it simply refers to the type of method for fastening the lens holder to the projector. I don't have a need for any electrical power supply to the lens,it's just the term I used for securing it as it resembles what was known as a "Hotshoe" without actually being "hot" in this case. Then that would be a "cold shoe". [Smile]
