I personal use Beaulieu or Fumeo projectors as these were made and design to show full features in one go. They are quite simple module construction. So if a part goes it is easily replaced.
Both only use one motor with minimal components so you have trouble free operation for many years to come if looked after well. Also the film path is very small in comparison to an Elmo. Less likely to ruin your priceless film collection and very easy to clean.

You were lucky with your Fumeo David. I knew a collector who bought Fumeo from Derann. He raved about it being a professional projector. It did look good but it very quickly developed technical problems. I think there was a second one and it went the same way. Eventually, he did some sort of deal for a Elmo with them. They didn't even ask for the second one back so it end up as a door stop.
Anyway good luck with your Elmo I am surprised it hasn't been snapped up. Summer holidays and heat you will definitely sell in Autumn. Hold your price!!
