Here are pictures of the 16mm projectors I have in my collection.

ftp://jimhome.hopto.org/pub/16mm_projectors

The name of the files say basicly what they are. Only have to add a RCA TP-66 which I have not picked up yet due to it's weight and size. Have to rent a truck for this one. Over 475 pounds !!

Regards,

Jim L.

Welcome to forum Jim. [Smile]

Nice line up of machines, especially the old Victors. Are any of these opt/mag units?

The JAN AQ-4A and the Kodak are OPT/MAG machines. However, since I do not have any mag stuff, I have not tried those machine's features yet.

BTW. All of the machines are restored and working.

Elmo ST-1200HD - modified for 1600ft reel capacity

Elmo ST-600D M&O - rare and mint projector similar to the ST-180E, late design with upgraded electronics and optical sound playback

Eiki SSL-0 - popular 16mm machine, with 50mm, 38mm and scope lenses

Two Sankyo Stereo-800 units, both in need of repair (but mostly working)

Bauer T-450 Servo Program, in a perpetual state of disassembly and repair...

Chinon Dual-8 model 727 silent projector (runs standard 8mm fine but eats super-8 for breakfast)

Two Bell & Howell standard 8mm silent machines (models 253AX and 256)

Hahnel Motomat 3001 and Elmo 912 editors - soon to be joined by a Goko RM-8008 motorized stereo recording editor...

3 Elmo "corpses" (dead/for-parts machines): two Elmo ST-1200s and one ST-800, plus a ton of loose spare parts

I have too much stuff!!!

I'm insanely jealous now [Eek!] Would you ever consider selling your Bauer T430 or T450, I wonder...?

Hi Jan,

really, my great passion for the projectors (especially Super 8), that are all perfectly working, doesn't let me to renounce to any of them. I collected them one by one, searching for the best, and sincerely at the moment I don't want to sell any of them.
Anyway, if I will decide to sell the ones you mentioned, I'll let you know. Thanks and sorry!

Flavio

That's quite alright Flavio, I understand where you're coming from... I don't think I could let go of my modified ST-1200HD unless I got a GS1200 in trade. [Big Grin]

There is a Bauer T430 on eBay Germany right now actually.... so I might yet get lucky. We'll see...

Thanks for your compliments!

I'm still missing some other projector (Ugo knows well!) I would like to add my collection and they are:

- ELMO GS1200 XENON (the last on ebay from Bavaria was very interesting... no shipping unfortunately!)
- Braun Visacustic 2000 (there is one on ebay germany now...)
- YELCO 3600 Computer Quartz (never seen on ebay since two years now!)
- BAUER T 190 ML

I'd love to see that Yelco 3600, too... I only know it even exists because of that driveapples guy and his website, with reviews of this and other projectors.
Even Juergen Lossau's book Movie Projectors makes no mention of this Yelco model. [Eek!]

The Yelco 3600 is a superb machine with its built in Quartz control. Spares like most machines are now impossible to get as is this machine itself.

The review of the machine years a go in Movie Maker, highly rated it. I remember PM Films having a couple of them in the UK and I think he was using them to record his 600 ft extracts on in stereo. Certainly Watership down which PM sold had a limited number of prints released in stereo and were recorded on Yelco's. My copy still looks and sounds great to this day.

Nice machine if you can find one!

Kev.

Jan, keep your eyes peeled. Ian (at Perry's) was selling one a few months ago, so these machines do surface from time to time...

No... This is it... I'm done!!! [Eek!] Because if I keep this up I'm gonna run up my credit card debt... in fact I'm going to sell some stuff and probably getting out of 16mm altogether, sticking with super-8 from now on... I decided to let the Bauer T430 go, and I kind of wish I had been outbid on the Goko RM-8008 on eBay, but what do you know, of course I won [Roll Eyes] so now I have that... no more projectors for me. [Eek!]
