Does anyone know how to lubricate an Elmo 16 CL cam/claw without taking apart the enclosed assembly? Mine has developed a noise -- it runs (with or without film) very quietly for about 5 minutes, then it starts getting noisy. Nothing horrible, but not quiet like it does at the start. After a period of rest, it will run quietly again. This makes no sense to me -- I could understand noisy then quiet (when it warms up), but not the reverse. The service manual, shockingly, does not give any advice about lubrication!

Also, what size allen wrench is needed to remove the claw assembly? I keep going to the hardware store and asking for one a little bigger or a little smaller, but none fit. This is for the little cog on the axle at the rear of the machine.
