I am looking for a way to view a 1600 ft reel of 16 mm film to assess its historical value. It is probably Nobel Prize Winner Glenn Seaborg giving a speech. I don't own any 16 mm equipment and haven't found a place in the SF Bay Area to borrow or rent either a 16 mm viewer or a projector for a day. The film was done in 1967 and has some kind of sound I believe.
Short of buying an old viewer or projector, any suggestions?
Thanks, Claude Lyneis aka bhsvideodad.

Claude you might try contacting Gerald Santana. Gerald is in Berkeley and might be able to help you. http://8mmforum.film-tech.com/cgi-bin/ubb/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_profile;u=00002362

I have a 16mm sound projector if you wanted to bring the film to watch it...but I live in the South Bay.
