hi all, where are forum members getting the A-D strips from at reasonable prices? I've seen a site but it is selling packs of 250 - I only want about half a dozen or less.
I have a couple of films that I suspect have vingar syndrome but want to be sure Cheers

Thanks for the link, Mark. I have little doubt when I read all the negative comments for that seller but if the post and packing are cheap (I'll check that when I come back from holidays), it may Worth a try as the item itself is cheap.

I went on the 16mm film talk forum and asked if litmus paper would do the same as A-D strips and I got this response:
"As an experiment I wanted to see what happened if I used pH test strip papers in direct contact ( for a few days ) with a very vinegar film. The results showed NO trace of low pH ( acid ) for which the film obviously is.
Conclusion: The test strips are for liquid use only and won't work for gaseous exchange.
