Looking for a tip top condition Elmo 38mm lens for the 16mm machines. Late one, NOS. Nice one in box maybe. Thanks, PM or email me.

Still looking for a nice one of these. Must have a good thread at the front to allow me to add on the zoom attachment.

I just purchased one from Magna-Tech in the USA. It was okay as far as the glass is concerned but the thread is damaged. Grrr. [Frown] I will keep it because I can make use of it. But it will only be good for exactly 38mm. I know other members have had problems with Magna-Tech. Steve Krams I believe is the Boss. Useless communication. Two purchases I have made and this one was not so hot but previously I did get a nice scope lens in NOS condition. Bit of a lucky dip.

Since people have been talking about lenses lately thought I'd just mention this again.

Hi steve, if its not too damaged in the thread you may be able to recover with a thread chasing tool, if there is more than a couple of turns of thread. Its basically a flat tap with various pitches on it, it locates into the thread and cleans it up, and or repairs damaged parts to a degree.

Thanks Paul. I'll do some research on that, not something I possess but I'll have a think on that.
