I think soon we will get less than a Euro, and maybe also soon enough less than a Dollar for the pound Steven.

We are off down the Loo sadly.

Best Mark.

I used to exchange Euros to pounds from time to time all the year long and stock them in my dedicated wallet in prevision of UK conventions (I pay with a credit card for the other expenses). I still have some cash in Pounds but it's probably wiser to put some Euros aside and exchange them just before travelling in case the British pound looses to much of its value.

Today's exchange rate is one English pound (£1.00) for Euro currency of €1.20.

So has inched up slightly.

PayPal has outrageous unfavourable exchange rates. Check the difference with Visa and you'll be surprised.

Dominique is correct.
PayPal always seems to make a good degree of profit out of us, but, I suppose it's also the convenience of one-click buying.

If what Steven just said is true, though it certainly wouldn't be good for the British, I must confess that it would be good for U.S. film buyers as, one thing that has held back a great number of U.S. super 8 collectors, it the exchange rate between the pound and the dollar.

My big beef, however, is when a seller will have a really neat item I'd love to have, say a cartoon, and even at 3 pounds, but it'll have an 18 POUND SHIPPING CHARGE!!!

OOORG!!!

I can see Scotland going back before long David.

And when I lived in Norwich some 20 years ago interest on savings was 14%! Now, the majority of bank accounts don't even reach 1%..
