It's the continuing adventure of the Royal Sound...
Now back to an 800 euros starting price.
Check it out, here.
Will it ever end?

You know it - by the time that seller goes down to 300 euros, someone will be clueless enough to actually bid (and win) at that price...

Jan, it already went down from 1000 to 500, then to 250, and back up to 800. So I guess 400 is next... [Big Grin]

How can something keep going down then up. Is he relisting his add multible times. I like the lens but I dont like the fact there are no reel arms. Nice little projector though.

Alan, this projector is constantly being relisted by a seller with "0" feedback. It never gets any bid.

This ones "Stereo"!!! They dont give up do they. Being a first generation ST1200 it can't even play a balance track.

Heh! And did you see the guy asking the seller, "are you sure this is a stereo model?" He responded by saying "you're right! It's a 2-track machine but not stereo!"
I just sent him a message to really set him straight... [Roll Eyes]

Top Cat!
The most effectual Top Cat!
Who's intellectual close friends get to call him T.C.
Providing it's with dignity.

Top Cat!
The indisputable leader of the gang.
He's the boss, he's a pip, he's the championship.
He's the most tip top,
Top Cat.

Yes he's a chief, he's a king,
But above everything,
He's the most tip top,
Top Cat.

Top Cat!

He's also a bit overpriced.

Kev,

Absolutely! Even if Master & Commander doesn't have as catchy a theme song as Top Cat!

Moreover, Master & Commander will have brilliant colors... wanna bet the Top Cat films are faded to red by now? [Razz]

Yet another zero-feedback seller with an incredibly priced item for sale...

Doesn't that just INSPIRE buyer confidence?? [Roll Eyes]

I think this seller is just a little optomisitic;

Mike,

You beat me to it. I was just about to mention the very same item on US eBay.
Maybe next week he'll lower it by five dollars.

Just when I though most OTT pricing for common bog standard films were generated from non Ebay UK sellers along comes this one today:

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=35075&item=6394278510&rd=1&tc=photo

Seller says the typical 'not tested but looks in good shape' then adds 'a piece is missing as the film starts at number 5' - for that BIN price I'd expect almost the full feature in colour, not this 50ft (make that 49ft allowing for number 10,9,8,7 & 6 of the missing countdown leader) b/w silent version! Nice box though..... [Big Grin]

Now this one did make me laugh [Big Grin] It's the comments about the brighter picture.

......also note the seller cannot count if you check the blades / apertures on the picture carefully, correct me if I am wrong but is this not a six-bladed shutter, making the picture in normal use even darker? Less flicker though if you like that sort of thing [Big Grin]

He probably did, but would someone tell him that an eBay listing is NOT A NEWSPAPER AD? [Roll Eyes]

And a six-bladed shutter would, of course, give you 24 x 6 = 144 light/dark cycles per second, wholly incompatible with either PAL or NTSC... I think the idea is for you to install this shutter AND tune the machine to 20fps [Wink] It's amazing, the things people do sometimes. [Big Grin]

Ignorance is bliss in the auction below, where did they get the idea it's made by Eumig anyway? At least the seller said they have no idea how or if it works (just hope they don't try to attach a mains lead) [Big Grin]

I must confess to a slight case of ignorance myself - I know that ain't no projector, but I can't tell for sure what it is. Looks like a striping machine... is it? [Confused]
