It's been a good couple of days for Film based programmes on BBC radio 4. Just been listening to a great hour long tribute to Morricone, very interesting.
quote: Sir Christopher Frayling presents a tribute to the renowned Italian film score composer Ennio Morricone, who turns 80 later this month. With contributions from Goldfrapp, Chris Rea, Nitin Sawhney, Anne Billson and Andrew Paresi.

There's a handful of about six or so composers that I really admire for being constantly "on" with they're compositions ...
Morricone is among them!
Who can ever forget the theme to "The Good, the Bad and the Ugly"?
