Have you ever taken a close look at the 20th Century Fox Logo?
Well of course we have all seen it thousands of times, but have you ever observed the pattern of the searchlights? I did by accident last night when I was slow motioning through the start of a Fox movie. So here is yet another useless bit of Hollywood trivia [Big Grin]

 -

The two searchlights at the front of the edifice are fixed and never move their direction. The two right lights at the back move back and fore in exact sync and parallelism. The rear left searchlight does its own thing, and operates at a higher frequency than the two right rear lights, so it moves in and out of phase with the other lights.
Now, what is the angle between the stars on the Paramount logo?

What format would the Paramount logo be in? Vistavision, 4x3, scope, widescreen.

All this makes it very hard.

Talking of stars what star system features in the Universal logo

ANSWER
There are 24 stars on the Paramount logo, and you would think they would be spaced 10 or 15 degrees apart. But they are not. According to my calculations the stars are spaced 11.25 degrees apart, or 8 stars every 90 degree arc.

Next question how many MGM Lions wre there, and what was their names?

I don't have a picture of George, he was apparently not a popular lion! [Smile]

If I am not mistaking, when the lions roars three times (instead of the two standard ones), it means that MGM regard(ed) the film as one of its best one.
