During projection my Sankyo Sound 600 went to a full stop. I took off the back cover and verified if the driving belt was on. It was intact, without any signs of tear. Next I remove the belt and turned the unit on. The motor started without problem. Then I tried stopping the motor by holding the pulley simulating a torque - the motor stopped without effort. I conclude that the motor torque is no efficient.
Questions:
1. Has someone encountered a similar problem?
2. Can you please recommend corrective action?
3. Can anyone share/sell a service & repair manual for this projector?
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hi Angelo ... My guess is that you have a micro switch that is failing. Check out this thread:

Replacing the micro switches on this machines is doable...but not an easy task.

If you PM me your email address...I can send you a schematic.
