Well over 100lbs by the look of it, and judging by the handles it is certainly a two man (or more) lifting operation. A fabulous machine without doubt, but my GS1200 is heavy enough!

It's certainly big but the people to the right in the photo are a bit further back, so it wasn't 'dwarfing' them quite as much as it seems in the photo. I think David W said the chassis is basically the same as one used for a portable Fumeo 35mm projector. It's the only S8 projector I've seen that fully justifies the expression "built like a tank"!

I guess no one is going to post any video of David's convention. What a disapointment!

I wouldn't give up hope yet. The main video that I'm aware of is likely to be edited and compiled with considerable care by the experienced filmmaker responsible for shooting it, so it will take time.

Keith Wilton has asked me for a copy of the video clips I took, but due to computer problems getting them onto a CD for him I haven't delivered them yet. I should do that tomorrow.
