Hi. New to this forum. Just looking for a bit of info if anybody can help. I have a copy of Monty Python & the Holy Grail on the Walton Super 8 film format. Just wondering if anybody can give me any info on it at all, if it's rare? etc. I have it listed on eBay at the moment, if anyone could advise? Thanks.

Hi James, the film was a nice 2x400 with good colour as you know,
I don't think it's rare as it was a very popular title and it does
pop up on dealers lists every now and then.

Thanks for the quick reply and the info. I actually found this in a house clearance. There was alot of film just chuck out before I got there but I managed to rescue this one from the bin. I don't actually have the proper equipment to play it, so thought that it sould go to a good home where someone would actually appreciate it. Thanks.

What a shame they were throwing them away. I think this would be a fun one to have but I suppose shipping would be a pain

Oddly enough this is one title that at the time Walton were looking to release a third part form, it would have been great if it came off as a final third part would have concluded the film as per the feature. [Frown]

Just for extra info folks, there was a super 8 optical feature of this title floating around. Ian at "Perry's Films" once had a print of this in stock, many years ago, so I know that there is at least one copy of this title about!

The 2nd part appears to be rarer. I only have part one and a Jabberwocky/Grail tralier reel. Ni!

The first time I saw it in opt snd was in 1989 in FFTC ,when a chap
in Ireland was selling the feature plus poster, it could've been
the one Osi saw on Perry's list.
