This week I tried to finalize the sale of a film, but all my emails to the buyer bounced (the receiving server decided that all the emails from my host were spam (you can't blame them really, but that's a different matter....)). The only way I could contact the buyer was by sending him a PM. I think email problems are fairly common now. It is nice to have an alternative. I would rather see the PM function active on this forum.

Yes I`ve been contacted via private message when email gremlins are in town.
And I`ve cleaned mine out completely now.
Best Mark.

There is another factor that i believe that Kevin and Meltzer brought up in the past ...

If you do not empty out your old PM's, it can get full, then, if someone wants to leave you a PM, they can't do so ...

So, dump out the ole PM's folks.

(gee, I sound like a moderator! Wheee!)

Having them switched of for a short while might not be a bad idea and may make us buck up a bit on them.
Could they automatically delete after say 30 days to save space unless you cliked to save them particularly??? Just a thought.
Best Mark.
