i think i have a serious problem with the eumig 610D that just arrived today.
the variable speed knob is jammed. its stuck on 18fps.
i've tried using a bit more strength to turn the knob but i don't wanna end up breaking it.
does anyone know how i can fix this?

has it got something to do with the blown bulb or am i doing something wrong?

That is not necessarily a big problem and it should not be electrical so it should not be related to the bulb.
My 607D had the same problem. I guess the greese dries up or something. I just rugged it and it came alive again.
Take off the front and back covers and try to gently wiggle the dial back and forth. You'll see on the back the mechanical parts that slightly moves when you do this. hopefully it will pop into place by it self and start working again when you ar rugging it.

Louis,
These are durable little machines, great for projection and easy to store out of the way.
Also if you later want to "convert" it to a telecine machine be sure to check this out

hey knut.
i recently projected some films with the projector and it really is a good piece.
i have a question though.
when you rewind the film.
whats the reason for the lens section popping out? not completely but slightly

thanks
