Fernando,

The full Blackhawk catalogue from the 1970's would be over 100 pages (several catalogues). They do come up on ebay; I realise a current US seller will not sell outside the US. He has not sold any of his catalogues, yet I would have bought them if he sold internationally.

Keep looking and you will find them.

David

I would gladly help you out, but I had a bad experience with this seller awhile back, so I won't deal with him/her again! Either selling or buying! Very arrogant, and if you check their feedback you'll see i'm not alone.

That's not a prime catalog to get anyway. By that time, a large part was filled up with video tapes, and many of the film titles had been discontinued. (I'm assuming you want a good reference for what Blackhawk released over the years.) But there were still many new releases, notably a few W&W's, as well as the Time-Life Harold LLoyds.

The mid-70's was the sweet spot for BH catalogs in terms of getting a good feel for what was available in the film format. But frankly, you do need the later ones as well for the newer releases.

I just picked this one up for a low price.

You could email the seller and see if they have any more.

I concur with Tony. The catalogs of '79 and later were 60% film and 40% VHS/BETAMAX. Signs of film leaving the market were pretty obvious by this time. Stick to prior to 1978. The ones from '74-'77 were by far the best.

I see these covers and I can remember having all of these. Why o'h why did I ever throw them out? I must have had about 30 of these babies when I was younger. I used to put them all in the sleeve protectors that comic dealers use. One day in the late 80s (after graduating from college) I decided since film was nearing its extinction I discarded them. Boy, (smacking head) if I only knew that 25 years later I'd want them all over again and now I have to pay for what was once free.

All you had to do was call their WATTS line (the 1-800 #) and request a catalog. As long as you made at least 1 purchase within 90 days they would continue to send you their catalogs and mini catalogs throughout the year. The catalogs were always free.
