Hi, I have 2 copies of the Titanic trailer (James Cameron 1997)

One is scope released from Derann I think. The other is flat letterbox but who released this?. I cant believe Derann would have released both scope and flat versions together?? Both trailers seem to be identical content BTW.

Graham,

the flat (extremly letterboxed) version is also from derann. I have a print of this version and bought it new from derann. After a few weeks later derann offered the CS version of this trailer [Mad] . If I had known this before.

Thanks Ralf, Both of my copies I purchased second hand and both came in a white box with a 'Derann like' label on it but I didnt think derann sold the flat version as well. Interesting.

I can use both versions on different trailer reels for flat and scope [Wink]

I suppose it represents the very last time that Derann offered the same trailer in flat or scope. It wasn't completely unheard of for them to do this; other examples I can think of were 'The Big Boss' and 'Raise the Titanic'.

And the 'Titanic' trailer was actually in three formats as they sold it in 16mm scope too!
