Hi,

I just bought on a nearby flea market Canon Auto Zoom 518 SV Super 8 camera just to know later on that I need a Filter Cancellation Key for the CCA on the upper slot of the camera.

I read the manual and I got a bit confused.
So I better ask here and will wait for an educated answer on the Issue.

I want to use Ektachtome 64T and shoot inhouse not outside, What should I do with this particular camera?

regards
moe

You can use Ektachrome 64t with this camera. You have to replace it using a piece of plastic shaped as Greek letter "P". Its dimensions are:

height: 1,8 cm
lenght: 2 cm

I hope this helps. [Wink]

I didnt get it that way or I wasnt sure I'm doing it right.
Cant I just stuck a small cardboard and press down the pin inside the slot - that should do the same, how should I know that I did right and the CCA filter was removed? (The aparture may be dif.? or any other indication that I've done it ok?

Thank you Nathan! and all for helping me out.
Also wanted to know what can go wrong is I shoot E64T with the CCA filter indoors? incase the cancellation key was not inserted right?

Thank
Moe
