Winbert,
That is wonderful; I have never seen an optical printer that actually could take Super-8.
Somebody from one of the forums should buy it; they would know how to put it to good use.
Claus.

Hmmmm,
I could make 16mm blow-ups of my S-8 Kodachrome footage from the 70es and 80es, using low-contrast intermediate stock from Kodak...ah, but the $5000...wait, that's my rent for quite a while
One must take a moment to admire such gear. If we don't, who will?
Claus.

The owner has replied my email saying that this can make a positive (using reversal stock) or negative print on super 8mm out of 16mm, but not 35mm.

You can stay outside for quite a while, can't you Claus ?
