What a joy the GS800 is to use. I bought one yesterday and collected from Paul Foster. Not only is it a joy to see behind the scenes at Paul's excellent and efficient set up, but to collect a machine still in the original packing and immaculate cardboard box! The steadiness is excellent as is the quailty of the sound. Another superb product from Elmo. Well worth every penny.

I have one of these and they really are excellent machines with great sound (stereo if you need it) and great picture. The variable speed control is really useful if you ever need to re-record the soundtrack on a film. You don't get the 1200 foot capacity but I think they are more reliable than the GS1200, and nowhere near as heavy.
