Does anyone have a scanned version on the Elmo F Series Service Manual they can email me?

Hi Janice
I have a PDF of a manual for an ELMO FP 8mm projector.
It's the user guide but does have info on oiling, cleaning and changing of the supply voltage.
Would be happy to e-mail it to you if you think it might be useful.
You can contact me at terry (dot) lagler (at) rogers. (dot) com

Cheers
Terry

Thanks Terry...I have the user manual. I'm having a problem with the supply reel spinning when it shouldn't. I thought a more details schematic might help me see what might be going on.

I've never had the FP-A, but other Elmos I know have a gear on a hinged lever that is moved by a solenoid, probably controlled by snap switches pressed by cams on the control knob shaft.

This rocks forward to engage the gears for the front spindle on rewind, and backwards for the rear spindle in projection.

Maybe something like this?
