Hi Michael, I had two different versions of the feature years ago. One was a 4X400' version from MOUNTAIN, which had the brain creature gore scenes edited or shortened. The other print was complete un-edited from CinemaEight, which was located in Chester, Connecticut, here in the U.S.A. The latter was a very good quality print, mounted on two 800' reels, that I bought from Forum member Steven Sigel about ten years ago. I later sold both prints. Not sure if that one was originally four or five 400' reels.

Thanks, Joe. Aside from the edit, what was the quality like on the Mountain print? Can you recall?

I don't remember anything bad about the quality, I was just disappointed that some of the special effects shots at the end were edited by the censors.

I have had a few copies of the Mountain Films 4X400ft version over the years and they have always been good prints. Their is however an issue on this print where a sequence is out of synch on reel 2 I believe. It is midway through the reel and sorts itself out but it is on all the Mountain prints of this title. If you can live with that issue (it's not that bad) it's a great film.
