So what did you do? Vary the distance of the shutter assy from the gate or increase the tension of the gate presser?

Janice is awesome!

I'm hoping someday we can have little projectors together! [Big Grin]

Hi all, All I did was undo the two small grub screws after looking at the claw it seemed to be sticking out to far so I backed it off a bit at a time and she now runs like a dream.
There is no noise or jumping it just runs smooth.
Barry.

Congrats for your accomplishment but this episode might hint wear on the claw pin has started, so keep it lubricated or you'll have to replace this pin: you won't be able to compensate for its wear like you did forever: at some point, shifting the claw ass'y backwards will become unfeasible because the engage point of the claw tooth will be too outward; at that point you can either replace this part or clip the claw tip a little bit.
So lubricate!

Hi Maurizio, what oil/grease would you recommend for Sankyo projectors? Thanks MIKE

Any type that won't harm teflon parts; I can't tell you for sure, since I use a small supply I was given by Sankyo European Rep. Office, back in the 1990's and I still have it but the grease (not oil) was in an anonymous tube).
