I never heard of them Dino.

I am actually in need of some striping at this time. I was hoping to use EVT again, as they've done excellent work for me in the past. I couldn't get on their web site, so I'll try the phone number (EVT that is). But if this falls through I may give this other company a call.

James.

EVT, as posted previously, have shut their doors for the last time. The only option left is apparently Andec in Germany though they can only dothe main stripe nowadays not the balance I'm told due to insufficient inventory of 0.4mm balance stripe.

Following its webste, this German company still offers a stripping servcice, even for the balance strip : http://www.ffr-film.de/index.php?page=bespurung&language=fr I think this one also offer it but the page is only in German and it should be confirmed by German speaking member http://www.filmbespurung.de/ . The French lab Color City also provides stripping for 9,5, super 8 and 16 mm but I don't know if they do the balance strip for super 8 http://colorcity.fr/ .

They stripe all the german prints we know as CHC prints, but unfortunately they can´t stripe on polyester stock.

Oemer, it seems that most of the types of films on the market can be stripped. This is what the FFR site says : "Wir bespuren Acetat Filmmaterial: / We stripe the following Acetat film material:
Ektachrome, Kodachrome, Kodak TRI-X & PLUS-X, FOMA, ORWO, AGFA, KODAK Vision, Cinevia,Fuji, usw."

On the main page they wrote in red letters:

Wir können leider keine Super 8 Filme auf Polyesterbasis (AGFA Aviphot Chrome 200/
WITTNER Chrome 200D) mit Magnettonspur bespuren !

That means unfortunately we can not stripe Super 8 Films ......

And that is what I heard from friends they stay in contact with the film lab.
