Check out my tree I decorated in my movie room. I used a 1200' 16mm reel wrapped with rope lighting as a tree topper. Used old super 8mm film as ribbon and reels as ornaments. Check out the pics here!

Thanks Jim for posting that. Sadly no films under the tree this year from Santa. But He did bring me a brand new popcorn machine! I was also able to buy a 16mm LPP print of "The Small One" on ebay with my Xmas money! Merry Christmas to me!

Yes, thanks Adam, a nice idea for the tree, and thanks Jim for posting the photo. I deleted my FB account after a few months when I realized its just not for me. I wonder how many lucky collectors actually ever got a film for a Christmas surprise????

From what I have learned, that for most people, if they can't get you a gift at a local store they won't get it for you. I usually have to give the gift of film to myself. Oh well...
Collecting Super 8mm FB is a no brainer. We all need to join. Cine Compartido show many, many behind the scenes of our favorite stars. Don't need to know Spanish. And Stan Winston is for all us Creature dudes out there. You'll get a few daily or weekly updates from each. Fun stuff just like Adam's tree.

Nice tree Adam! My wife likes to get creative with Christmas and does something different every year. This year she flocked the tree orange and had an orange theme with most of her decorations. She even came up with an orange colored drink for our party.
I did get an 8mm editor as a Christmas present this year.
